Lawyer Maurice Ampaw Praises Kennedy Agyapong & Outlines 8 Strong Steps To Help NPP Break The Eight

The just ended NPP elections outcome of the NPP has brought a lot of surprises and Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has heaped a lot of praises on one of the aspirants Honourable Kennedy Agyapong for giving Dr Bawumia a strong contest.

Lawyer Ampaw during the Mmra Ne Abrabo Mu Nsem programme on Wontumi TV yesterday draw the curtain to an end by delving deep into the the outcome of the election and also outline 8 solid steps the NPP as a party ought to follow to enable them break the 8.

The following are the possible ways the NPP can break the 8 according to Lawyer Maurice Ampaw;

1. The Dr Bawumia campaign team must be dissolved immediately. To Lawyer Ampaw, a new campaign team must be formed across board thus, strategic team from the party must be employed to preach the good news about the party to help break the 8.

2. Honourable Kennedy Agyapong must be made to play an active role in the party. Looking at the outcome of the election, Kennedy Agyapong took a commanding lead in both the Volta region and the Central region, therefore it will be imperative for him to capture victory for the party based on his performance in those regions.

3. Let Bawumia be accessible, free, down-to-earth, go to the grassroot and support emotionally and financially the party faithfuls. He should do away with the party apparatchiks who mess up with the supporters with the kind of negative relationship they exhibit with the party members. They should see the people as partners in progress by addressing their needs.

4. Let any MP who is not attractive and has become Methuselah go. The party should make a change but letting fresh face come on board to energize the party. Lawyer Ampaw made reference to the NDC's Nii Lantey Vanderpuije who is not contesting again as well as the Majority leader in Parliament and Suame MP Honourable Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu who are not going contest again and is prepared to pave way for the other young members to represent the party in party.

5. The NPP should disallow the NPP from doing advertisement on TV stations such as the Onua and TV3 under the Media General whom he believes is for the NDC.

6. The NPP should handle some men of God and Civil Societies who act against the NPP and make the party unpopular and typical example is Prophet Oduro who is known for the popular saying'tie' and Prophet Kumchacha. Prof Gyampo and Franklin Cudjoe of IMANI Ghana and Policy Think Tank should all be matched boot for boot.

7. The party should protect His Excellency the Vice President Dr Bawumia.

8. The party should begin their campaign now.
