A Mural Of Christian Atsu Has Been Painted At Awudu Issaka Park In Tama Community 20 To Honor Him

The 31-year-old who died after the tragic earthquake in Turkey had earlier initiated an initiative to raise money for the construction of a school in Senya Beraku, a town in Ghana, to help orphans, much like with his many other philanthropic endeavors.

After he passed away, the hopes of the weak and future beneficiaries began to fade, but Newcastle United supporters made the decision to finish the project, and as a consequence, they were able to raise nearly £3,000 in less than 48 hours.

Popular Ghanaian artist Mohammed Awudu has painted a lovely mural of the man the country is mourning, much like he did with Kudus Mohammed at Nima.

In Christian Atsu's honor and memory, Mohammed Awudu painted a mural of the former Black Stars winger at the Awudu Issaka Park in Tema Community 20.

He is one of just two players in the country who have recently had murals created. There is only one extra participant, and that is Mohamed Kudus, whose mural is in Nima.

Christian Atsu has dominated the news ever since he was found dead among Turkey's earthquake-damaged ruins last Saturday.
