Since making a reputation for himself as Kidi after winning the MTN Hitmaker competition, Dennis Nana Dwamena, better known by his stage name, has unquestionably been one of Ghana's top Afro-beats musicians.

Kidi, who took home the Artiste of the Year award in 2021, hasn't been making music since the beginning of 2023. He hasn't even been included on any shows.

Hus's management made a public announcement informing his followers that he has become ill and has cancelled all of his gigs.

The manager of Lynx Entertainment, Richie Mensah, refuted the allegations that the singer was suffering from a stroke.

Even still, Kidi hasn't appeared in public, further proving that the artist is gravely ill.

A well-known blogger/critic claims that Kidi's health has deteriorated and that he may spend a considerable amount of time away from the spotlight.

"My source suggests that Kivi's "stroke" condition has worsened and that he may be out of commission for a very long time," he added.
