Following the arrest of the main suspect, the family of the young woman who was allegedly shot dead at Adum by her "boyfriend" who is a police officer has requested police protection.

The family claims that on Sunday night, some unidentified individuals stormed their neighborhood in a suspicious manner, forcing many of them to flee their houses.

If precautions are not taken, they worry that one of them could be harmed by someone who may be connected to the suspect.

However, the family members have applauded the police's decision to detain the police inspector who is suspected of fatally shooting their cousin more than once.

"We spotted some unidentified males in the vicinity on April 23. My sister warned them not to approach them when they called some of our family members to have a talk. They may be connected to the main suspect, in our opinion. For fear of violence, the family members had to move from their residences to the main family home. We are in danger now that the main suspect has been detained but our daughter hasn't been laid to rest. We will appreciate a police patrol in the evenings if there is one since we need police protection. A deceased Yaw Ofori's uncle said
