Anyidoho is praising Akufo-Addo for his work on the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park redevelopment.

The Founder of the Atta Mills Institute, Mr. Koku Anyidoho, has expressed gratitude to President Nana Akufo-Addo and his government for the redevelopment of the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park.

After taking a tour of the park, Mr. Anyidoho remarked, "In fact, I am really impressed."

"After 25 years of the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park's existence, the facility had not seen any serious facelift, and as a result, the fountains, which are key attractions, were not functioning effectively, which resulted in a decline in the number of visitors.

In addition to this, whenever it rained, the museum's roof would leak, making it extremely difficult to guide visitors around the exhibit. The scenario was the same in the VIP lounge, where the majority of important guests of the state were required to sign the visitor's book following their tour.

In addition, the primary passageway leading to the restrooms as well as several of the restroom parks were in a horrible situation.

Mr. Anyidoho stated in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum was not something to write home about during the time that he was championing the reconstruction of the Asomdwe Park. He went on to say that "one of the energy I got for the reconstruction of the Asomdwe Park was that I was seeing the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum just deteriorate."

He stated that it was a good start in terms of honouring and remembering our soldiers, stating that there was a lot that had been done and that there was still a lot more could be done. He thought that it was a good start.

"I have been here for an hour, and after touring the place, I can say that we can all remember Dr. Kwame Nkrumah in this exciting manner," he continued. "We can all remember Dr. Kwame Nkrumah in this exciting manner," he emphasised.

When Mr. Anyidoho was speaking on the upkeep of the facility, he made an impassioned plea to the general people to make effective use of the Park and to keep it in good condition so that future generations will be able "to come and see the legacies, achievements, and the life of the first President of Ghana."

He extended his congratulations to President Akufo-Addo and his administration on the redevelopment of the park, stating that it would not only serve to honour Dr. Kwame Nkrumah but would also serve to boost tourism within the country.

"Look at the reconstruction of the Atta Mills Presidential Library at Cape Coast and now the new Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, this will be one of the legacies of the current government in protecting the legacies of former presidents," he continued.
