Appointing Northerners While Ignoring the Central and Western Regions - Ken Agyapong

Kennedy Agyapong, a candidate for president, disclosed that the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration infuriated him by appointing Northerners to influential positions in his administration.

He disclosed that he does not know if Northerners are the only party members who vote for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in order to attain such enviable positions.

Kennedy Agyapong was speaking in the Western Region when he made this statement, urging party members in the region to also desire to appreciate the fruits of the NPP's labor.

"We were present in the Western Region when the Vice President, Interior Minister, Defence Minister, Sports Minister, Lands Minister, and Tourism Minister were appointed from the North. Why? Are they the sole individuals who vote?

If they wish to be tribal, so shall we be tribal as well. They do not belong to the party. They have exploited the Central and Western regions for years, and now that they have profited, they intend to regard us as their slaves. We are human creatures, not animals."
