At Bonfire Night, a Michael Affair Presec student's stunning portrait leaves Sarkodie speechless.

It's said that you should never meet your heroes because you'll end up being bitterly disappointed.

After what transpired during the 2023 "dade" Torch & Bonfire Night held at the Presbyterian Boys' Senior High School, Legon, that adage would have to wait.

After a powerful performance that rocked the crowd to their feet, superstar artist Sarkodie was still basking in the praise when another poignant incident occurred.

Third-year student Michael Yeboah was led into the platform while holding something. Sarkodie could be seen asking his entourage what was going on because he didn't know what was happening.

The evening's emcee, Lexis Bill, then explained to the multi-award-winning singer how the young visual arts student created a gorgeous image as a present after learning that Sarkodie was scheduled to perform.

"I was a visual arts student like you, and I want you to know that it is not the subject you study that makes you, but the passion you apply to it," a beaming Sarkodie (actual name Michael Owusu Addo) told his namesake, moving the audience to verging on tears. Never stop moving forward.

The crowd, which was primarily made up of current and former students of the school, erupted in applause and immediately began screaming "Obidi! Obidi!

The conversation between the two Michaels served as the perfect capstone to a magnificent evening of food, drink, entertainment, and camaraderie provided by the school's "dade," or old guys.

After the show, viewers could see young Michael, dressed in a white shirt and khaki pants, ambling happily with pals toward his dorm.

He would never forget the day Sarkodie gave his aspirations new life, and neither will the roughly 5000 people who attended the celebration at the school.
