When Jamaican reggae musician Gramps Morgan landed in Ghana, the Dancehall flavor began to permeate the air at the Kotoka International Airport.
Gramps was welcomed into the nation with a lovely performance by cultural groups that included a hint of northern dancing as a favor from his host, Shatta Wale.
Gramps' visit to Ghana comes before a suspected song video featuring Shatta Wale, who appeared on the Jamaican artiste's, is set to be filmed.
The CD features a variety of sounds from the continent, including Afrobeat, Bongo Flava, and Amapiano, among others.
Since its release, the CD has brought together Gramps and his West African companions. Uganda was his first stop on the continent, when he hosted a personal album listening.
Ghana is the next country on his list, and it should be intriguing because self-described millionaire Shatta Wale is hosting.
Shatta Wale was in good spirits as he walked the Grammy Award winner through a mob of delighted supporters at the airport to herald his arrival.
