Cedi to depreciate 30% to dollar in 2023 - EIU

In 2023, Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) forecasts a 30% depreciation of the cedi against the dollar. This is less than the approximately 44% devaluation of the local currency in 2022. In its 2023 Country Report on Ghana, the British company disclosed that it expects the cedi to depreciate substantially this year.
