Chief Justice to inaugurate Dambai High Court on Thursday

The Judge Anin Yeboah

As part of the judicial reforms to promote effective justice delivery in the region, the departing Chief Justice Kwasi Anin-Yeboah is anticipated to dedicate an ultra-modern High Court on Thursday in Dambai, the regional capital of Oti.

The ancillary facilities include the registrar's office, a room for information and communication technology (ICT), chambers for bailiffs and dockets, a judge's apartment, and a generator for uninterrupted power supply.

Mr. Joshua Gmayenaam Makubu, the Regional Minister for Oti, disclosed this at the inauguration of Mr. Bernard Aboakogya Mensah, the newly elected Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Krachi East Municipality.

Mr. Makubu stated that following the inauguration of the High Court in Dambai, the Chief Justice Anin-Yeboah would proceed to the Biakoye constituency to inaugurate a District Court.

He praised the Chief Justice for spearheading judicial reforms to improve the delivery of justice in the Oti Region.

He commended the Chief Justice for his efforts to ensure the timely completion of the project and urged traditional authorities, religious organizations, stakeholders, and the entire region to seek redress for their cases in court rather than resorting to lawlessness.

Some inhabitants of Dambai thanked the Chief Justice for the magnificent courthouse and for bringing the courts closer to them.
