Hughton has attended several Ghana Premier League matches in recent weeks, including trips to Tamale, Dawu, and Kumasi.
In a message posted on the social media pages of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the Ghana coach urged the public to observe more local games.
Hughton stated, "I urge everyone to follow the betPawa Premier League and watch as many games as possible, as I will."
Hughton was formally introduced as Ghana's head coach last month, replacing Otto Addo, for whom he had previously served as technical advisor.
Since then, the former Brighton manager has led the Black Stars to victory in his first two matches in command.
In his first match in command, Ghana defeated Angola 1-0 in Kumasi before drawing with the Black Antelopes in Luanda in a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier doubleheader.
Hughton promised during his introduction that he would spend time in Ghana and attend as many matches as possible.
