Demo Stars triumph May Day Card Game Contest

Demo Stars of Teshie defeated Teshie Camp 2 Stars by a score of 247 to 225 to win the 2023 May Day card game conducted at the Teshie Camp 2 School Park.

A large audience attended the competition and cheered on their respective teams.

Demo Stars paraded the likes of  Lesley Martey Korley (Muller), Okoe Sodier, Solomon Yartey (TiDoors), Marmah Akap3, Okoe Kwasasa, Hon. Atinka, and Klu Zakpo, while the Camp 2 Stars featured Richard Yartey (Sossey), Paris Marmah, Yekini Afeenoko, Adjetey Joshua, Adjei Anderson, Bro. Steven and TettehLizz.

Camp 2 Stars took the second set, while Demo Stars won the first and third.

The winners were presented with medals, soft beverages, and GH1,000 in cash, while the runners-up received GH500 in cash.

Mr. Patrick Martey, a member of the Organizing Committee, congratulated both teams for demonstrating their skill.

Mr. Martey told TimesSports that there are plans to make the competition an annual event, as there have been requests from other teams to participate in the next edition.
