Duffour is not cut for NDC flagbearer....Zuba

A former Mahama appointee Kwasi Ofori Agyemang also known as Zuba has suggested, Dr. Kwabena Duffour, is wasting everybody’s time including his by contesting John Dramani Mahama in any NDC elections.

Dr. Kwabena Duffour has picked nomination forms to run in the NDC flagbearership race whereby he is seen as the closest contender to former President Mahama.

Already some salvos are coming from Mahama loyalists who suggest Dr. Duffour will not stand the chance in party politics as he is not cut for it.

Speaking on a Kumasi local radio station, Mr. Agyemang who is a former Municipal Chief Executive(MCE) for Obuasi made it categorically clear that Dr. Duffour is not a typical politician who can even convince anyone with his speech as he has advanced in age.

“Kwabena Duffour, even though distinguished, cannot be a figurehead of politics. When you listen to him, his speeches are not even clear, he is old. You can’t campaign with him.”

“His yomo (dyed hair) makes him appear young but he is not’ he retorted.

He contends people should stop deceiving Dr. Kwabena Duffour and that he can lead the NDC into elections.

“People are just deceiving Duffour, they just want to spend his money, he is a statesman and a distinguished businessman but he can’t lead in politics. people shouldn’t think because they are accomplished in one area, they can succeed in politics”

“Duffour is not cut for it (flagbearership), his only clout is that he has money nothing more. We can’t campaign with him from morning till evening, he hasn’t got the strength he is far advanced in age. He is over 80 years old. You want us to go into a crucial election with someone who will be over 82 years old?” he asked.
