Fire in NPP As Party Boys Vandalize Party Office Over This

As a result of the reluctance of constituency executives to provide them with a nomination form, supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Sagnarigu constituency have destroyed property belonging to the party.

The irate supporters of the NPP smashed the glass windows, doors, and chairs in the party office before continuing their rampage.

The NPP youth claim that the constituency executives are hatching plans to guarantee that the Northern Regional Coordinator of the School Feeding Programme, Madam Felicia Tetteh, will win the next NPP parliamentary primary without facing any opposition.

They have, however, issued a warning to the executives of the constituency that they will fight against any attempt to impose a candidate on them and have threatened to vote against that candidate if that attempt is successful.

"Since we are aware that the executives of the constituency have been given money, they are avoiding us and refusing to come to the office in order to hand over the nomination forms," you said. They are attempting to impose Felicia Tetteh on us, but we won't comply, and if they succeed, we will vote against her. They are trying to force us to accept her. They stated that there is a constitution for the party, and according to the constitution, it is the right of every party member to pick up a nomination form.

In the next parliamentary primaries, Madam Felicia Tetteh, who was the 2020 NPP parliamentary candidate in Sagnarigu constituency and has picked up a nomination form to compete, will be one among the candidates.
