1. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo

President Akufo Addo was honoured by the Chiefs of Ngleshie Alata Traditional Area by enstooling him as a Chief at a durbar held at Mantse Agbona, Jamestown in Accra. President Akufo-Addo was given the stool name “Nii Kwaku Ablade Okogyeaman I,” to wit “Royal Warrior; One who fights to redeem his people.

He was given the name by the paramount chief of the Ngleshie Alata Traditional Area, Oblempong Nii Kojo Ababio.

Aside this position, the Chiefs and people of Daffiama-Bussie-Issa Traditonal Area have, on 23rd August, 2022, conferred the chieftancy title of “Yelemanga Naa”, to with “Chief of Truth”, on the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, at a brief durbar in Issa.

In 2016, he was also installed as Togbe Dzigbordifia, chief in the Volta region during his campaign season.

2. John Dramani Mahama

Former President John Dramani Mahama is a chief in the Apesika Traditional Area in the Bono East Region, under the stool name Nana Beyeman Kwame Ababio I.
The rites for his enstoolment was led by the Chief of Jema and Kyidomhene of the Nkoranza Traditional Council, Nana Amponsah Gyan II.

3. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu

The chiefs and people of Suame enstooled Majority Leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu as ‘Sompahene’ for his contributions to the development of the area. This position is to motivate him do more for the people of Suame. He visits the town during festive seasons as part of his obligation as a chief in the community. He is their MP and the current Minister for parliamentary affairs.

4. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong
