Oheneyere Gifty Anti, a Ghanaian media personality and philanthropist, has spoken out about the distressing assaults she has received in response to marriage rumors.

In an interview with Joy Prime, Anti cast light on the subject by discussing the impact of these false allegations on her life.

During the conversation, which took place prior to the release of her book 'When Strong Women Cry,' the host inquired about Anti's marital status, asking if she and her spouse were separated.

Anti responded to the rumors with laughter, "Should I contact him for you? We have decided to communicate at the opportune time. This is not the first time this has occurred, and I am evidently the target. The individuals discussing me do not know me. They have no information about me. What should I do then? Do you spread the word to everyone? I maintain concentration because these factors can disrupt me. I am distressed and dissatisfied."

Despite the obstacles she has encountered, Anti remains steadfast in her convictions. As a gender advocate and activist, she has been persecuted numerous times, but she reminds herself that adversity is a normal part of the journey.

"It is difficult to speak your truth these days, especially because you are a strong woman and a feminist and there are so many attacks going on," she said. "If you are not careful on this voyage, you will be fighting and saving the world while you are in a mess. In my book, there is a narrative about a woman who saves the world, but there is also suffering. This woman was diagnosed with depression due to her efforts to help others."

Earlier in April, unconfirmed reports circulated online that the veteran broadcaster had expelled her spouse, Nana Ansah Kwao IV, Chief of Akwamu Adumasa, from their marital home and that the couple had since separated.

People on social media have praised Anti's courage in speaking out about her experiences, describing it as a reminder of the significance of remaining true to oneself in the face of adversity. However, Anti continues to be the target of attacks.
