Gifty Anti Discusses Divorce Rumors, Expressing Hurt And Disappointment

Oheneyere Gifty Anti, a Ghanaian media personality, has expressed regret over the severity of the assaults she has endured in the wake of rumors about her alleged failed marriage.

Earlier, when social media was abuzz with the rumored separation of Gifty Anti and her spouse, Nana Ansah Kwao II, the popular media personality took to Facebook to respond.

In the remark section of one of her defender's Facebook posts, Gifty Anti refuted the allegations and implied that she is still in a happy marriage.

In a subsequent interview on Joy Prime monitored by GhanaWeb, she elaborated on the subject.

Before the release of her book When Strong Women Cry, the presenter asked her halfway through the conversation, "Are you separated? "Did you evict your husband from the home?"

Laughing out loud, Gifty Anti responded, "Should I call him for you? We have decided to communicate at the opportune time. This is not the first time this has occurred, and I am evidently the target. The individuals discussing me do not know me. They have no information about me. What should I do then? Tell everyone you know about it? I maintain concentration because these factors can disrupt me. I am wounded and dissatisfied."

Gifty Anti stated that despite being persecuted numerous times for being a feminist, she frequently reminds herself that adversity is part of the journey.

"It is difficult to express your truth these days, given all the attacks that are occurring and the fact that you are a strong woman and a feminist. If you are not careful, on this voyage you will be fighting and saving the world while you are in a mess.

"In my novel, there is a story about a woman who saves the world, but there is also suffering. "This woman was diagnosed with depression as a result of her efforts to help others," she continued.
