Grace Ashy outlines the terms under which she will write a new song for Black Stars.

Grace Ashy, a well-known gospel performer in Ghana, has said she is always willing to write a new song for the Black Stars soccer team.

This, in her opinion, is crucial, particularly since that the majority of the players she included in her last song have left the squad.

Grace asserts that she will only write a song if she is formally engaged to do so.

She explained this on Adom TV's M'ashyase3, saying the reason is because she receives no financial support from pertinent stakeholders.

"I wrote the song to promote my brand and my passion of country music and sports. GNPC fully sponsors the team, so I thought about what else I could do. I wrote the song, and while I wasn't planning on making any money off of it, I think a little bit of extra money wouldn't have hurt.

She said to Afia Amankwa Tamakloe, "Kudus and the new guys are not lucky, but if they hire me, I will write a remix for them."

The musician, whose voice is heard on most football songs and is well-known for it, expressed her gratitude to God for giving her the inspiration to write the song.

She said it was a turning point in her career and mentioned that previous President Kuffuor had given her an honorary award.
