Accra Great Olympics made fun of its city rivals, Hearts of Oak, by posting a clip of one of their former players after fans attacked head coach Slavko Matic.
On his way to Friday morning’s training with his players, the Serbian tactician was stopped and attacked at the club’s training facility in Pobiman by some supporters.
Great Olympics took to Twitter to ridicule Hearts of Oak with a video of their former player, Stephen Appiah, singing a King Promise song titled “Oh yeah”. The caption reads, “When your team has a coach!”
Matic has only been in charge for five months following the sacking of Samuel Boadu, and pressure has been mounting on him.
Wednesday’s 1-0 loss to Great Olympics has made the pressure even more intense.
