Hearts of Oak has the potential to be Ghana's most commercially successful club.

Baba Sadiq, a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, has outlined his intentions for the Accra Hearts of Oak football club if he is appointed as Managing Director.

Baba Sadiq was reportedly in the race for the position last year, but he was not ultimately selected.

"So for me, the question was how do we leverage all of these, the history and legacy of Accra Hearts of Oak, and ensure that the millennials continue and take it forward from there?" he told Radio Gold.

"And how do we ensure that we are able to capitalize on this to garner the attention of young people so that they will fill the stadiums, purchase our merchandise, and ensure that all the commercial partnerships we have are of the highest quality?

"Utilize the innovation for which I am known to ensure that Accra Hearts of Oak remains the largest, most relevant, and commercially successful club in Ghana."

Baba Sadiq is currently a prospective NDC candidate for the Okaikoi Central Constituency.
