Hotel over centralised super delegates congress

Supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have besieged the Alisa hotel in an effort to force the party to convene the Super Delegates Congress in a centralised location.

As the National Executive Committee and National Council work today to put the finishing touches on the election process, the goal of this group's activity is to increase the amount of pressure that is put on them to not consider decentralising the selection process.

They believe that doing so will put the integrity of the elections at risk.

As the New Patriotic Party (NPP) gets ready for their next presidential primary, there are a variety of perspectives inside the party on whether they should hold centralised elections or regional elections for the flagbearer position.
