The impersonator of Kuami Eugene, Stephen Abrokwah, who went under the stage name Junior Rockstar and was born in Ghana, has changed his identity in response to abuse on social media.

The doppelgänger of Kuami Eugene claims that he changed his name to avoid the pressure and jeers of Ghanaians.

The aspiring artist disclosed that his new stage name is "Steve Quam" in a message to some of his TikTok followers.

During the Q&A session with his TikTok fans, he also swore not to ever play any of Kuami Eugene's songs again.

He also addressed the rumors that were in the news that he was charging event organizers to perform under the name Kuami Eugene.
