Mustapha Amadu Tanko, a Bia West NDC parliamentary candidate, has promised to implement the "Bia Teachers Award Scheme" in the district to encourage teachers in the area to offer their best efforts if he is elected.

In the May 13 primary elections, Mustapha Amadu Tanko will compete against Hon. Dr. Augustine Tawiah, the current MP, to represent the NDC in the Bia West constituency.

Mustapha Amadu Tanko promises the populace that if he is elected to the House of Representatives, he will make education a top priority. He believed that as education and development go hand in hand, anyone seeking progress must first address the issue of education.

In his manifesto to the people, he stated that he would prioritize providing basic schools with adequate classroom infrastructure as well as making sure that teachers are encouraged to give their all by compensating them.

"I pledge to improve education by making sure that elementary schools have suitable classrooms for instruction and learning. To encourage teachers to offer their best effort, I'll establish a "Best Teacher" award program in the district. I'll deliver this, he said.
