Black Sherif, a famous musician from Ghana, claimed that he is well-paid for his music.
He was questioned about whether his music career is successful when he appeared on Accra's TV3 for a Road to the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) interview.
He didn't hesitate, "Yes," he said."Yes, that is how [my music videos] are able to be shot."
"If you study my videos from back then, they don't look like the videos [and] the pictures we [shoot now]," he continued.
His presenter remarked that he and his crew once used a phone for photography.
Sherif responded, pointing at Farouk, another member of his crew. "Yeah," he said.
For a very long time, "Farouk has been taking pictures and videos of me," he claimed. He now has a subpar [advanced] camera, though. Yes, that's how it is.
Whatever skills his team currently possesses, according to the "Kwaku the Traveller" hitmaker, "yeah, we learned from scratch."
The squad is made up of risk-takers, he claimed, "because [we had] zero" and hence "we had nothing to lose."
"So everything we did, we were trying something," he continued. And we progressed from there.
