If You're A Messiah And You Can't Heal Your Home; What Kind Of A Messiah Are You? - Dr Apreku Jabs Bawumia

If you are a Messiah but you are unable to heal your home, then what kind of a Messiah are you? - Dr. Apraku Jabs Bawumia
Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, a candidate for president from the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has criticised one of his rivals for the position, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, on how he has managed Ghana's economy. In an interview that aired on Citi TV on July 19, 2023, Dr. Apraku addressed statements that people are needlessly targeting him by referring to the performance of Ghana's economy under the leadership of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.According to him, the record of the vice president needs to be taken into consideration in order to decide whether or not he is capable of leading the country."There is absolutely no issue with that (calling out Dr. Bawumia).

And during that interrogation, everything ought to be brought out into the open," he continued. The candidate for president continued by saying that he would not tolerate politics based on ethnicity or insults as a form of political discourse."I would resent it if somebody was talking about ethnicity; I would resent it if somebody personalised the campaign – those haven't surfaced," the candidate said. "I would resent it if somebody was talking about personalising the campaign."

But when we look back over our history, certainly if you want to run his country and you have been involved in anything that even remotely resembles ruling the country, we have the right to investigate how you have handled it," he said. This will be the case when we look at our records. In addition to this, he stated that it is unmistakable that Vice President Dr. Bawumia is the candidate of the establishment in the battle for flagbearer. In the NPP presidential primaries that are scheduled to take place in August and November of 2023, there will be a total of ten candidates. The number of candidates for president of the party running in the 2024 election would be narrowed down to five during a super delegate conference that would take place in August 2023. The primaries itself would take place in November 2023 to determine who would represent the party in the 2024 election. On the list of ten potential candidates are Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President; Alan Kyerematen, a former Minister of Trade; Kwadwo Poku, an energy specialist; Joe Ghartey, Attorney General and Minister of Justice; and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, a former Minister of Food and Agriculture.
