Mr. Emeka Ihedioha reacted after the Labour Party's presidential candidate in the February 25th election, Mr. Peter Obi, visited him at his home to express his condolences over the death of his mother.
Mr. Emeka Ihedioha announced the loss of his mother in April, and since then, a large number of people have sent him condolences and many dignitaries have visited him at his home in Imo State.
Mr. Peter Obi decided to pay Mr. Emeka Ihedioha a visit in his home on Tuesday, joining the likes of President Muhammadu Buhari and the Peoples Democratic Party's presidential candidate in the 25 February election in expressing their condolences.
Mr. Emeka Ihedioha and Mr. Peter Obi have been longtime friends despite not belonging to the same political party, and he was delighted to host the former Anambra State Governor on Tuesday.
Mr. Emeka Ihedioha posted on his official Twitter account the following in response to Labour Party's presidential candidate in the February 25th election, Mr. Peter Obi's visit to his home to express condolences for the passing of his mother.
"Recently, I received my brother and friend, His Excellency Mr Peter Obi, on a visit to condole with my family over the passing of our beloved matriarch, Dame Dorothy Nsonma Ihedioha, into eternal glory."
