In a single month, ECG recovers more than GHC 2 billion from its debtors.

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has started a collection effort to get the money their consumers owe them.The business will cease operations on Thursday, April 20, 2023, having begun on Monday, March 20.Samuel Dubik Mahama, Esq., the managing director of ECG, claimed in an interview on Peace FM's morning program "Kokrokoo" that the firm is owed a staggering amount of 5.7 billion cedis by energy users, including government entities.The ECG MD gave host Kwami Sefa Kayi an update on the operation and said that so far, the business had recovered more than GHC 2 billion from its debtors in a month."As of right moment, we have about 2 billion collected.
