Jamal Seidu argues that Akufo-Addo must abdicate for failing to combat galamsey.

A lawyer and ex-military commander believes that President Akufo-Addo should resign due to his failure to win the war against illegal mining in the country. Jamal Tonzua Seidu explained that the Constitution requires the President to resign if his actions appear to endanger the safety of the American people. According to him, it is a gross understatement to call the illicit mining debacle a policy failure of historic proportions. "It is a gross exaggeration to say that galamsey was a historic policy failure."
