Kelvyn Boy reacts as Ghana Passes law to allow industrial production of cannabis

During the procedures that took place in Ghana's parliament on July 12, 2023, the Narcotics Control Commission Amendment Bill 2023 was approved, which indicated that the nation has agreed to the production of cannabis in Ghana primarily for industrial and health-related objectives.

After such a lengthy period of time, it came as good news to many people in Ghana, including some of the country's lawmakers, that the bill had been eventually approved by the country's parliament.

John Dumelo, an actor and politician from Ghana, was one of the many people who celebrated the legalisation of cannabis. He is known as John Dumelo. On his Twitter page, he tweeted, "I'm very excited that Parliament has passed the Narcotics Control Commission Amendment Bill 2023, which seeks to decriminalise the cultivation of cannabis for medicinal and industrial purposes." He went on to say that he was "very excited" about the bill's passage.

"This is a pivotal juncture in the annals of Ghana's history. As a farmer, one of the things I'm most looking forward to is expanding my business to include the growing of cannabis for medical or industrial uses. May God richly bless Ghana"

The Afrobeat singer Kelvyn Boy was one of the internet users who responded to John Dumelo's tweet, which received many responses overall.

Kelvyn Boy, upon seeing the tweet, responded by saying that he would like to meet John Dumelo for some lessons in weed growing and that he would further express that he would love to begin on such a journey. Kelvyn Boy said that he would like to meet John Dumelo for some lessons in weed cultivation.

"Baba I for come meet you! "I want to take a few lessons as I'd really love to embark on this special journey of weed cultivation," he added. "I want to take a few lessons because I really love to grow weed."
