Lil Win was paid GHC50 for his role in the film Azonto Ghost.

Kwadwo Ankansah, better known as Lil Win, a popular Ghanaian actor, revealed that his first paid role in a film was for GHC50 after he became prominent.

"Azonto Ghost" remains one of the best-selling and most renowned Kumawoood films to this day. Bisa Kdei, a Ghanaian highlife artist, rose to prominence in the music industry after providing the background music for the film.

However, Lil Win, who played one of the main roles in the film, claims he was paid only GHC50 for his part.

According to him, he was unfazed by this because he enjoys his work and is aware that things will eventually shift.

"I was compensated 50 Ghana cedis for my role in Azonto Ghost. And despite this, I was not deterred. This was stated by Lil Win in an interview with Kumasi's Nhyira FM, which was monitored by MyNewsGH.com.

The actor also disclosed that he did all of these things out of love, and that this is what made him a star in the entertainment industry.
