Maltha relates how Shakau-Hauwa arranged her marriage to three Boko-Haram militants.

Hauwa Maltha, one of the two additional girls from the Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok who were rescued by military operatives yesterday, revealed that she was forced to marry three Boko-Haram terrorists over the course of nine years following their 2014 abduction by the insurgents.

Yesterday, while speaking to a group of journalists, Hauwa expressed joy at their rescue, stating that military personnel rescued them when they ventured out to collect water for use in the forest.

However, when asked if she was compelled to marry three husbands during her time with the insurgents, she confirmed that this was the case and that Abubakar Shekau was responsible.

She responded, "Yes, Shekau wedded us to them. The initial spouse left. Unfortunately, he never returned, and Shekau stated that the marriage had ended due to their infidelity.

She explained that she did not do it on purpose and that she married three separate men. She claimed that she married another Boko-Haram fighter in the village, and that he was killed in a dispute between Shekau soldiers.
