Man is shot at Kasoa Akweley after fleeing into a robbery.

An armed robber shot a 26-year-old guy in the waist at Kasoa Akweley New Town in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central region, and the victim is now fighting for his life.

Justice Amoaqunadoh, the victim, was reportedly accompanying his sister on Friday morning when the event took place.

Foster Mensah, an assemblyman from the Kasoa Akweley Electoral Area, affirmed

He claimed that as the offenders were robbing passengers inside a Sprinter Benz bus, Justice and his sister ran towards them.

The bandits opened fire on them in an effort to flee, striking Justice in the waist with a live bullet.

Justice was transported to the Police Hospital theater for an urgent operation, according to Mr. Mensah.
