Man to ex-girlfriend: Refund the GHC 35,000 I spent on you if you don't want to marry me again.

Rita, his ex-girlfriend, spent his money and refused to marry him after leaving the military, so a middle-aged Ghanaian pub owner in Abidjan has threatened to terminate her life spiritually.

According to the heartbroken widower, he sent Rita Ghc 500 for food every two weeks.

Rita took money from him at one point to pay for a protocol to join the Ghana Armed Forces, as her adolescent ambition was to become a military officer.

And even while she was at the training center, he sent her money nearly every week because she lied to him about not being able to consume the food they provide.

Speaking on Oyerepa FM's Aunty Naa show, the betrayed man described how he took out a GHC 700 loan to give to Rita when he was destitute, only to find that she was constantly contacting him for money.

According to the man, Rita conspired with his mother to spend his money and discard him after they got what they wanted, since he told them he has never attended school and therefore cannot read or write.

Now, he desires the accumulated GHC35,000 he spent on Rita in exchange for her promise to marry him if she decides to end their affair because she is now a soldier and will not marry an uneducated man.
