Worldwide Miracle Outreach and Lawrence Tetteh Ministries have initiated a nondenominational 31-day National Prayer Rally. The purpose of the prayer rally is to seek God's visage in order to combat the nation's escalating disorderliness and ills.

The event will be held daily from 6am to 8am from May 1, 2023 to May 31, 2023 at the Miracle Center, Christian Village in Accra.

The month-long programme seeks to bring together religious leaders and worshippers to pray against every evil plot to undermine the economic and socio-political development of Ghana and the well-being of all Ghanaians.

The President of Worldwide Miracle Outreach (WMO) and the Lawrence Tetteh Ministries (LTM), Reverend Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, addressed the media in Accra and reiterated that Ghana has been besieged by obstacles to socio-economic development.

For Ghana to be successful, he said, wrong must be recognized as wrong and not politicized. He stated that corruption must not be tolerated at any level of society.

He advocated for the preservation of water bodies from the harmful effects of galamsey and urged Ghanaians to work towards creating a better environment for future generations.

Reverend Dr. Lawrence Tetteh stated that the approach must be resolute and determined as the nation cries out to the Lord for deliverance from its current economic difficulties.

In his speech, Dr. Lawrence Tetteh stated, "As a nation, we need God's hand more than ever."

He urged political leaders to seek God's visage by praying together with the church for divine intervention. A nation without a spiritual voice is doomed, he said.

He advocated for a shift in people's mentality.

He stated that neither the NDC nor the NPP had contributed to the advancement of the national agenda, and that the attitudes of Ghanaians toward nation-building were motivated by egotism and wrongdoing. Moreover, "this nonsense must cease," he added.

He urged politicians to exercise extreme caution when launching verbal assaults against the church and religious leadership as a whole as a result of the actions of a few deviant members of the Religious community.

Reverend Dr. Lawrence Tetteh urged media outlets to devote significantly more airtime to discussing issues related to the moral and ethical development of people, with a focus on the nation's future leaders, the youth.

For a better Ghana, he advocated educating, encouraging, and empowering the youth with godly values and civic responsibilities.

As the Bible exhorts, he urged Ghanaians to continue to pray for the nation and its leaders to be humble and devout.

The theme of the interfaith prayer festival is "This nonsense must stop." The event will be held daily from 6am to 8am from May 1 to May 31, 2023 at the Miracle Center, Christian Village in Accra.
