Morrison asserts that the government is striving to alleviate Ghana's economic difficulties

The representative stated that the government is preparing to define policies and programs that will revitalize the economy in the coming years in order to mitigate the country's challenges.

Cynthia Morrison, the representative for the Agona West constituency, stated that the government is working hard to resolve the economic challenges in order to reduce the high cost of living for Ghanaians.

She stated that the government is aware of the economic difficulties and is implementing prudent measures to alleviate the suffering.

After a four-hour health walk in the Central Region's Agona Swedru, the representative gave the assurance to New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters.

The walk coincided with the commemoration of the constituency executives' one-year anniversary in office.

The trek, which began at the Agona Swedru PWD office and ended at the Otabilkrom Astro Turf, was attended by all 31 polling station executives and coordinators.

Morrison, a former minister for gender, children, and social protection, congratulated Ghanaian employees for their hard work and selfless dedication to duty and expressed the hope that their expectations and aspirations will be met to promote the well-being of all.

The representative stated that the government is preparing to define policies and programs that will revitalize the economy in the coming years in order to mitigate the country's challenges.

She stated that the government, led by President Akufo-Addo, is focused and will restore financial stability in order to control the price of products and services.

Putting up with the authorities

Morrison urged Ghanaians to have patience with the government.

She stated that the current financial crisis is a global issue and anticipated that it would be resolved by the government's hard work and dedication.

The member of Congress expressed optimism that the delegates will vote to retain her in the next parliamentary primary so she can continue to provide quality living standards.

Alhaji Gibrin Tanko, chairman of the party's constituency, thanked the supporters for their complete participation and promised that the exercise would not be a nine-day wonder.

He stated that the constituency executives will institute an annual program to serve as a platform to revitalize the party at the grassroots level in order to win the 2024 elections.

Tanko called for a level playing field for other members interested in competing in the parliamentary primary and urged all candidates to conduct their campaigns in a fair fashion to avoid confusion.
