Muslims are encouraged to promote peace in their respective communities.

Bright Kwame Lenwah

Mr. Bright Kwame Lenwah, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Nkwanta South in the Oti region, has urged all Muslims to use Eid ul-Fitr to preach harmony in their respective communities.

The MCE, speaking to the Muslim community in Nkwanta South, congratulated the Muslim faithful for effectively completing the spiritual exercise.

He urged Muslims to continue to pray for the country and its leaders, seeking Allah's guidance in the administration of power and enduring peace and prosperity.

"I wish you all a prosperous Eid as you have successfully completed Ramadan for this year.
I am aware that it was not a simple journey, but Allah has shown you all mercy by allowing you to complete this fast.

"Utilize this Eid as a fresh start and avoid anything that will not bring peace and stability wherever we find ourselves."

He said, "Let's preach peace, because I know that's what Islam stands for, and where there's peace, there's development, because no investor would be willing to invest in a place without peace."

Mr. Lenwah implored the attendees to continue supporting the government for the success of all initiatives aimed at reducing poverty and generating wealth.
