Nottingham Forest Star Makes Cash Donation To Ailing Former Ghana U20 Coach

Andre Ayew has donated an undisclosed amount of money to former Ghana U20 coach Sellas Tetteh following his public cry over neglect.

The former Black Satellites coach made history by becoming the first gaffer in Africa to win the FIFA U20 World Cup.

He led the Ghana U20 team to success in Egypt, beating Brazil in the finals on penalties.

However, in recent times, coach Sellas Tetteh has been battling illness, which has kept him off the radar for a while.

But in a recent interview with the local media, he disclosed that he has been neglected and the money promised him after winning the World Cup is yet to be received.

This courted the attention of Ayew, who was captain of the triumphant team in Egypt, to make a cash donation to the manager.

The money was presented to Mr Tetteh by the mother of the player, Maha Ayew and his publicist Fifii Tackie.

The former Black Stars assistant coach thanked the player and hopes to meet him when he returns from Europe during the summer break.

The Black Stars captain joined Nottingham Forest in the winter transfer window after leaving Al Sadd.
