Nuclear Power Plants Are Not Responsible for Economic Problems Minister of the Ashanti Region reveals he is enraged by false accusations

Simon Osei Mensah, minister for the Ashanti Region, admitted that it irks him when Ghanaians accuse the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration led by Nana Akufo-Addo for the current economic difficulties.

Mensah argues that even extremely wealthy nations are presently experiencing economic difficulties, so it cannot be said that the NPP government caused Ghana's problems.

Why do we give the impression that the NPP's performance has been poor? It makes me furious when I hear that," he said in Twi during an interview with Hello FM in Kumasi.

The NPP administration has performed admirably.

In contrast to the widespread criticisms and thumbs-down, the current NPP government has been a significant success, according to him.

According to the minister of the Ashanti Region, the party lacks communicators who can promote the government's achievements despite the fact that the entire world is facing grave challenges.

He stated that Ghanaians who follow international news outlets such as Aljazeera, BBC, and DW will be slow to criticize the current administration.

Ghana is affected by the current worldwide crisis.

Simon Osei Mensah believes it is time for Ghanaians to stop unfairly criticizing the NPP government for the economic difficulties.

"NPP has performed admirably. There is indeed difficulty, but we have handled it well. "Much superior to other nations," he said.

He has instructed the party and its communicators to inform Ghanaians that, despite economic difficulties, the NPP government has performed exceedingly well.

He made the anticipated announcement during a meeting with members of the Majority caucus on May 2, 2023.

With the vice president's announcement, nine individuals have officially proclaimed their intention to compete in the NPP flagbearer election.

Mahama is concerned that the ineffectual Akufo-Addo administration has resorted to taxing everything.

According to the man most likely to become the NDC candidate for the 2024 election, the government is so obsessed with taxation that it now taxes gambling.

John Mahama made these remarks on April 19, 2023, as part of his campaign tour of the Greater Accra Region, when he addressed party supporters and delegates in the Trobu Constituency.
