Ohemaa Mercy Discloses Why She Shockingly Honored Her Ex-husband At Her Recent Event

Ohemaa Mercy, a gospel musician who has won multiple awards, recently made headlines when she announced that she would be celebrating and honouring her former husband during the premiere of the tenth edition of her Tehilla Experience. This decision has had some of her followers and admirers discussing.

Ohemaa Mercy opted to take a break from her performance during the beginning of the tenth edition of the event, which was given the name "Fire and Fragrance." She did this in order to pay tribute to her former husband, Isaac Twum-Ampofo (also known as Ike).

During her remarks on July 6 at the launch event that took place at the Movenpick Hotel in Accra, she used the opportunity to publicly express her gratitude to Ike for his unwavering support over the years.

"I want to express my gratitude to my ex-husband Ike for the tremendous assistance he has provided for me throughout the years. According to Ohemaa Mercy, "this wonderful man has been there for me and continues to support Tehillah Experience."

Ike, her ex-husband, acknowledged the thanks with a wave and then quietly took his seat, demonstrating their mutual respect for one another and their shared dedication to the success of the Tehillah Experience. Her ex-wife could not manage all the plaudits that Ike received from her, but he did.

When asked by Zionfelix on the Uncut show why she did this, the 'Ote Me Mu' hitmaker said that Mr. Twum Ampofo deserved all of the attention because he has worked extremely hard for the event for eight consecutive years. Zionfelix questioned the singer about her decision.

"Of course, that's OK. He deserves it. He was the one who organised and hosted the event on a consistent basis for a total of eight years. When I was in charge, there were occasions when I didn't realise how he got around it until I tried it myself. She made it clear that he was deserving of it.

She also thanked other members of the crew, especially Koka, for everything they have done over the years to ensure the success of the impressive concert.
