One fatality and one critical injury resulting from a motor vehicle collision

Two motorcycles collided at Gomoa Akraman on the Gomoa Akotsi -Kwanyarko road in the Central Region, killing a 17-year-old boy instantly and leaving a second person in critical condition.

Atta Panin has been identified as the deceased.

The incident took place on Saturday.

In an interview with Adom news, the deceased's twin brother, Atta Kakra, disclosed that his brother was sent to Gomoa Akotsi to purchase fuel when the unfortunate incident occurred.

Atta Kakra described how the other cyclist lost control and veered into his brother's lane, causing the fatal collision.

They were immediately transported to St. Gregory Hospital.

Seth Quainoo, chairman of riders, believes the victim could have survived the collision if he had been wearing a helmet.
