People Who Despise Light Despise Data - Bawumia Shades Political Opponents During COP General Council Meeting

Vice President of Ghana Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia made a subtle jab at his political opponents while addressing the 46th General Council Meetings of The Church of Pentecost at the Pentecost Convention Center in Gomoa Fetteh.

The Vice President was invited as a Special Guest of Honor to the Opening Session of the Council Meetings, during which Ghana's largest indigenous Church will also elect a New General Secretary, Chairman, and several Executive Council Members.

While praising Apostle Eric Nyamekye, Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, for delivering a data-driven State of the Church address, Dr. Bawumia made a sly dig at his political opponents by stating, "Only people who hate light hate data."

The Vice President commended the Church for continuing to manage its affairs with diligence and for being a shining example of Religious Excellence.

Dr. Bawumia thanked the Church of Pentecost's leadership, on behalf of President Akufo-Addo, for donating their Convention Center for use as an isolation center during the height of the Coronavirus pandemic.
