Postings Released By Free SHS Secretariat And GES - Parents, Students Urged

Placement for 2022 graduates of the 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) into Senior High Schools and Technical, Vocational Education Training (TVET) has been released.

According to the Ghana Education Service, out of the 547,329 candidates who sat for the examination, 538, 399 qualified for school placement, and added that 372, 780 candidates have automatically been placed into various schools which the rest will be self placement.

The Western and Western North Regional Chairman for the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), Mr.Obeng Nyamekye, has made passionate appeal to parents to be happy and try as much as possible to send their children to prospective schools placed by the Ghana Education Service (GES) and the Free SHS Secretariat.

It is a school within the four corners of the republic of Ghana since every senior high school in the country is good and important for academic learning.

He, said that schools in the Western North Region like Bibiani Senior High, Wiawso Sectech, Sefwi Bekwai Senior High School and Queens Senior are the best schools and therefore advised parents to patronise their own and refrain from paying monies to people on conditions for getting better schools for their children.

Mr. Obeng Nyamekye, again stated that the indigenes should try their best and contribute their quota to help the schools in terms of infrastructural development in the Western North and be attractive to outsiders to also patronise them.
