President NDC General Secretary Suing Six Executives

Six National Democratic Congress (NDC) branch executives in the Ningo-Prampram constituency have filed a lawsuit against the party's general secretary, Fifi Kwetey, and other party executives.

Jonas Tetteh Obinya, Mathew Ayiku, Mathias Narh, Sylvester Tetteh, Emmanuel Tawiah, and Joshua Tetteh are the plaintiffs.

Mr. Kwetey, the first defendant, Nii Ashie Moore, the Greater Accra Regional Chairman, the Ningo Prampram Constituency Chairman, and the Event Organizer are the defendants.

According to the summons, the plaintiffs are seeking, among other things, an order directing the party to swear in a number of executives who won the last election but had not yet been sworn in.

The plaintiffs are also requesting that their delayed swearing-in be deemed illegal.

The writ stated, "On 22nd February 2023, the Plaintiffs/Applicants filed a writ of summons and statement of claim against the Defendants/Respondents for an order directing the Regional Chairman to swear in the executives of D/A Basic School Mabole Branch, among other reliefs listed in the writ."

In addition, the plaintiffs request that the defendants hold branch elections at Loweh-Kobiaweh (Old Ningo Branch), Dawa-Oteng Kope, Mangotsonya D/A School, Christian Praise Church International Branch, and New Ningo South A Branch.
