Professor Frimpong-Boateng Is Too Self-Centered Kweku Baako's Protege

Gordon Asare-Bediako

Prof. Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng was labeled "egoistic" by a protégé of renowned journalist Kweku Baako.

Prof. Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng, according to Gordon Asare-Bediako, is too egotistic and considers himself superior to others.

Gordon Asare-Bediako revealed on Wontumi TV that his employer Kweku Baako used to hold Prof. Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng in high regard, but after the "lies" he has told about him, he doubts Baako would continue to hold him in high regard.

"If you give Kweku a piece of paper and a pen and ask him to write the names of three people he respects in the NPP, Professor's name would be one of them, but that is no longer the case," he said as he elaborated on the fallout of a document authored by Professor Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng, which allegedly imputes wrongdoing on the part of certain individuals in the fight against Galamsey.

Prof. Boateng lamented in the report that the veteran journalist had published unsavory remarks about him.

"The IMCIM organized a task force and a complicated operation to oust Donald Entsuah and his C&G Aleska from Diaso forest. The communities surrounding the concession were delirious with joy. Donald Entsuah and his companion were not pleased with the IMCIM's actions.

"I, in particular, was attacked severely. Mr. Kweku Baako, a journalist who personally called to inform me that the managers of C&G were his friends, was a fierce adversary. Mr. Kweku Baako published unflattering things about me at the time, according to portions of the report on illicit mining sent to the Chief of Staff of the Presidency.
