Rainbow Radio Listeners Fun Club causes traffic in a cleanup exercise

The Rainbow Radio Listeners Fun Club, led by its chairman, George Asare, a.k.a Obaapa Papa, has organized a clean-up exercise to tidy up the Abelenkpe community where the station’s Accra office, 87.5fm, is based.

The event saw members of the club in their numbers together with staff members of the organization.

The chairman could not hide his joy at the massive turnout and enthusiasm of the members.

Being the first of its kind, he informs Madina happens to be the next vicinity in focus while they consider other areas to ensure a cleaner environment.

He pleaded with all to desist from the behaviour of indiscipline littering.

Rainbow Radio International Accra/London CEO graced the event from beginning to end.

Lydia Seyram Alhassan, the area’s Member of Parliament, also took part in the exercise.

She had planned a walk with some of her constituents to coincide with the clean-up.

She joined the others in cleaning before continuing her walk.

She lauded the exercise and praised both the station and the club.
