Revealed : Prez Akuffo Addo's Government Is The Worst In Ghana's History

Dr. Clement Apaak, member of parliament for Builsa South, has responded to the latest IMF Regional Economic Outlook Report (Sub-Saharan Africa) for Ghana in 2023.

He stated that the most recent report demonstrates that Ghana's economy is in shambles and that the current administration must be replaced.

He hypothesized that the administration lead by Nana Addo and Bawumia caused the problem so that their clan would benefit.

According to the most recent report, Ghana's net international reserves are projected to decline to approximately three weeks of import coverage (0.8 months) by 2023.

In 2024, the country's reserves will increase to approximately 1,7 months of import coverage, according to the report.

Only Zimbabwe (0.2 months), South Sudan (0.5 months), and Ethiopia (0.6 months) are projected to have a lower import cover than Ghana in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The IMF report contradicts the Summary of Economic and Financial Data published by the Bank of Ghana.

In its report, BoG estimated that Ghana's reserves would cover imports for 2.7 months in 2023.

It also indicates that imports were covered for slightly more than two weeks (0.6 months) in 2022.

According to the IMF, if foreign inflows cease, Ghana's economy will suffer greatly due to its limited reserves for balance-of-payment transactions.

In a tweet, the representative characterized the current administration as Ghana's worst.

His tweet stated, "The Akufo-Addo/Bawumia NPP government is the greatest tragedy to ever befall our nation." This government has decimated our economy and environment for the benefit of the ruling family and their minions. Ghanaians must discipline the NPP for generations to come."
