The allegations that Easter celebration is evil are refuted by the Kumasi bishop

Bishop Dr. John Yaw Adu, a man of God, has argued that commemorating Jesus' death (Easter) is not sinful, despite what some churches have falsely said, according to King Amoah, a content writer for Opera News in Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region.

When he was preaching the gospel to explain how Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross for the atonement of sins on Easter Friday, April 7, 2023, the humble servant of God dropped the hint.

The clergy observed that, over the years, some churches that are said to have weird interpretations of the Bible have made every effort to prevent Esther celebrations, but to no avail.

These churches As mentioned by Bishop Dr. John Yaw Adu, Easter celebrations are considered to be part of traditional annual worship and are therefore bad.

In order to throw more light on the yearly Easter celebrations, the Bishop stated that both churches and people who do not believe in the holiday should remember that Easter is a holy day that represents man's salvation through the blood that was shed by Jesus Christ.

There is no other day that can be used to remember Christ for the atonement of sins, Bishop Dr. Adu emphasized, save from Easter days, which are expressly designated in the gospel to remember Christ. He flatly refuted the notion that Easter days are particular times for people to worship Satan by stating that neither gods nor Satan, for that matter, have any control over days aside from the Lord, who has the sovereignty over all of creation.

According to Bishop Dr. John Yaw Adu, anyone who criticizes Easter celebrations should consider himself to be on the road to hell fire.

Christ, who has provided redemption to mankind, is our Almighty Savior, Redeemer, Banner, All-Knowing, Alpha and Omega, and He is deserving of perpetual remembrance, adoration, and worship. The Bishop looked on as the congratulatory crowd cheered loudly.

The congregation was further astounded by Bishop Dr. John Yaw Adu when he asserted that, despite his belief in the Old Testament, those who relied on its laws to enter heaven would perish because, with the shed blood, the ten commandments had become obsolete rules for salvation.

Respected Bishop Dr. John Yaw Adu used 1st Corinthians 3–15 to support his argument that we cannot earn our way into heaven by keeping the 10 commandments that were given to the Jewish people as part of their Judaism religion, but rather by receiving the grace and mercy of Christ through God.

Therefore, Bishop Dr. John Yaw Adu urged everyone to believe in God, stay faithful, and keep celebrating Easter because gods have neither days nor power to save people; instead, they use confusion, social pollution, and lies to draw people away from God.
