The narrative of the 1998 tragic deaths of two heroic police officers, Kwaku Ninja and Taller.

In the course of duty, Owusu Sekyere, also known as "Kwaku Ninja," and Jerry Wornu, also known as "Taller," were brutally murdered.

According to reports, the two officers were murdered by land guardians in the Accra suburb of Ablekuma over an alleged plot of land.

The two police officers, who were assigned to the Striking Force Unit of the Ghana Police Service, acquired notoriety for their ceaseless efforts in combating crime and apprehending extremely notorious criminals.

Kwaku Ninja, for example, was recognized as a mixed martial artist who assisted in the training of police candidates and officers. His dedication to the art of self-defense earned him a spot on GTV's 'Sport Highlights' program, which typically broadcast on Mondays.

Owusu Sekyere's segment on the show became very popular because it taught many viewers self-defense techniques, and many viewers grew very attached to his style and his teachings whenever his segment broadcast.

Years later, Kwaku Ninja and his partner, Taller, became the symbol of strength and power in the Ghana Police Service's battle against crime, and their unit [Striking Force] became a nightmare for many criminals at the time.

Unfortunately, it was reported that they were lynched by a mob in Accra with the support of some land guards.

According to a widely circulated story, they were on a mission to inspect a portion of land that was rumored to have belonged to Kwaku Ninja, although the actual motive for their murder may not be known due to conflicting reports.

Upon their arrival at the site, some land guards reportedly had a bone to pick with the duo because of their valiant efforts to combat some of their illegal activities. However, this escalated into a physical confrontation between officers and land guardians.

According to reports, the land guards outnumbered the duo, resulting in the death of Constable Wornu [Taller] while Kwaku Ninja managed to flee the scene.

According to differing accounts of the incident, Kwaku Ninja was able to escape the mob by clinging to the bucket of a moving truck while being pursued, but he abruptly fell off and died on the spot.

Kwasi Kwei, also known as "Kwei-Kwei," was identified as one of the suspects implicated in the conflict. In connection with the murders of Constable Wornu and Owusu Sekyere, he and another accomplice named "Terminator" were apprehended by police.

According to the police, the two suspects later confessed to the assassinations of the two police officers. They also disclosed to the police that they had dug a grave for Kwaku Ninja and Taller prior to their arrest.

According to the police, Kwaku Ninja and Taller were interred in various locations throughout the community, including an unfinished structure.

The police administration subsequently exhumed and interred their remains after conducting an autopsy.

Eventually, the suspects, including others, were apprehended and convicted of their offenses.

According to rumors, Kwaku Ninja left behind a daughter who presently resides in the United States of America.
