Nana Obiri Boahen, a private legal practitioner, has endorsed demands by traditional worshippers for a national holiday.
Traditional religion adherents in Nigeria have implored the federal government to designate August 20 as a national holiday for traditional religion followers.
Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen lamented that, unlike Traditionalists, Christians and Muslims celebrate holidays.
On the Wontumi television program titled 'The State of Ghana' with Abu Prah, he alluded to his belief in traditional religion.
He stated that it is someone's religion.
He stated that it is not improper for a person to choose to worship a deity.
