Vicious Dog Deforms The Face Of 6year Old Girl

Lily Norton, a 6- year- old from Maine, US, underwent surgery as a result of the pit bull attack she suffered at a friend' s house. After being mauled by a dog on February 18, Lisa had 1, 000 stitches and was told by her physicians that she would never be able to smile again. According to The Sun Journal, she was taken to Boston for an 11- hour emergency operation because she needed sutures to cover wounds that ran from beneath her eyelids to the top of her throat.

Her salivary glands are inactive. a family friend named CJ Pitcher told the newspaper that the doctors had informed them that she wouldn' t be able to grin again, too much muscle injury.

According to Pitcher, Lily will be under sedation for at least a week to stop her from scratching her face. Dorothy Norton, the mother of the child, spoke to News Center Maine. She' ll require a breathing tube while Lily is under anesthesia. While she has a breathing tube in, " she' s still drugged, " according to her mother. But aside from that, she' s great. She looks fantastic.

Lily was having a playdate at a friend' s house when the attack happened, and the friend' s mother was supposedly watching the pit bull at the time.

They decided to play cards at the table, so the woman sat down, the friend went to get the cards, and as soon as the friend returned, the woman shouted to her mother because the dog was holding Lily in her mouth, according to Norton. Lily was taken by a medical helicopter to Boston Children' s Hospital after the friend' s mother sent her to a neighboring hospital.
